In my previous post, we have seen how to install vrops 6.6. Here we are going to see how to install remote collector and add vcenter to it.
Please have look at my previous post (added link below)as ova deployment remains same.
How to install vrops 6.6
- Follow the same step 1-6 and deploy your remote collector appliance.
- on step-7 click on expand existing installation.
- Enter node name and select type as remote collector, enter your master node IP here and validate.
- When it prompter for certificate, accept certificate.
- once you clicked finish, you will see below screen saying installation in progress.
- Once the installation is completed, go to master vrops GUI and configure vcenter.
- While configuring vcenter expand advanced settings, under collectors/groups option select your remote collector.
With that we have deployed remote collector and configured vcenter to it.
